Know who turned up,
where, and what they did.

Attendance, visit proof and tasks for staff who work away from a desk — guards, technicians, drivers, cleaners, salespeople. It works with no signal, installs from a link, and you pay for it like a phone recharge.

Real data, real credentials, nothing to install. Six weeks of history you can click through.

The problem

A register at the gate proves nothing

Paper muster rolls get filled in at the end of the week. WhatsApp selfies get forwarded. Biometric machines cover the one site that has power. Meanwhile the payroll goes out on somebody's best guess, and the argument about it happens a month later with no evidence on either side.

Six seconds, at the gate

Open, press once, done. The punch is written to the phone first, so a basement car park or a village with one bar of signal changes nothing. It syncs when there is a connection, with the time it actually happened.

Proof at any address

A technician at a customer's premises nobody set up in advance takes a photo. The location, the time from our clock, and how accurate the phone said it was are all recorded beside it. That is a visit you can show somebody.

Did the round actually happen

Assign a task with a checklist and require a photo, a customer signature, or both. It cannot be marked done without them — and the app says which one is missing, not just "cannot complete".

Where we differ

Built so your staff do not resent it

Workforce software fails when the people using it decide it is against them. Every one of these is a deliberate decision, and each one costs us something.

Location only while on shift

Movement tracking starts at clock-in and stops at clock-out — enforced by the server, not just by the app. Staff see their own trail, the exact words they agreed to are stored, and turning it off does not affect their attendance or their pay. A product that follows somebody home is one they are right to delete.

Flagged, not blocked

A punch outside the fence, a poor GPS fix, a phone clock that disagrees with ours — all recorded and marked, none of them silently thrown away. A guard whose phone cannot get a fix in a stairwell still gets their day recorded, and the manager gets the flag to ask about.

Running out of money never deletes anything

An empty wallet pauses adding staff and changing setup. Staff keep punching for three more weeks, and every record and every export stays available for good. Holding somebody's attendance data hostage is not a business model.

Signing in costs nothing

Staff use a PIN their manager sets — no SMS, no charge, works with no signal. A code by message stays available for organisations that want it, priced per message so you can see what it costs before you switch it on.

What is in it

Everything from the gate to the payslip

Attendance & rosters

Sites with a geofence you drop on a map, shifts with grace minutes and overtime, and a weekly rota grid. A night guard is judged against the night shift, not against nine in the morning.

Movement

Battery-aware sampling that slows right down when somebody is standing still. Live map, route replay, distance travelled, and automatic arrival and departure at your sites.

Tasks & visit proof

Checklists, photo proof, customer signature, recurring daily rounds, and a location check a manager can ask for with a short deadline.

Leave

Leave types with real "no annual limit", balances, a holiday calendar, half days. Weekly offs and holidays inside a request are not counted against somebody's entitlement.

Payroll & reports

Muster roll in the statutory layout, wages for daily, monthly and hourly staff, overtime, loss of pay, punctuality, and a fatigue report for people being worked too hard.

Gate tablets

A shared tablet at the gate for staff without a smartphone. It holds a device token, never anybody's session, so the next person in the queue is never signed in as the last one.

Alerts

A morning brief at a time you choose, clock-out reminders, and low-balance warnings. Every switch shows what a message costs, next to the switch.

Expenses & mileage

Claims with the receipt photographed in place. Where the day was tracked, the distance comes from the recorded route — a number nobody typed and nobody rounded up.

API & webhooks

A scoped, rate-limited REST API and signed webhooks with retries, so attendance reaches your payroll system without anybody exporting a spreadsheet.

Getting started

Running by the end of the afternoon

No hardware, no installation, no store review. The longest part is typing your staff list, and there is a CSV import for that.

We create your organisation

One call from us. You get an owner account and ₹500 of credit to start with.

You add people, sites and shifts

Search for each site on a map and drop a pin. Set a shift so lateness and overtime can be worked out.

Staff open a link

"Add to home screen" on Android or iPhone. They sign in with their number and the PIN you set.

The next morning it just works

You get a brief at the time you chose: who is in, who is late, who has not punched.

Works where your staff actually are

No signal. The punch is saved on the phone and syncs later with its real time.
Cheap phones. It is a web app, so there is no minimum Android version to argue about.
No phone at all. A tablet at the gate takes an employee code and a PIN.
Not in English. Seven languages, chosen on the sign-in screen before you have read anything.
Several sites, several shifts. Rules can differ per team; the stricter one wins.
Pricing

Prepaid, per person, per day worked

No monthly commitment and no card on file. You recharge a wallet like a phone, and it is drawn down each day for the staff who are actually on your roster. Take a month off and it costs you nothing.

What is not metered

Signing in with a PIN. No message is sent, so nothing is charged.
Admins and managers. You are billed for staff on the roster, not for seats.
Push notifications and exports.
A day with nobody on the roster. No staff, no charge.

WhatsApp and SMS are metered per message and priced in the panel before you turn them on. A GST invoice is issued on every recharge.

Questions

The things people actually ask

What happens when a phone has no signal?

The punch is written to the phone before anything is sent. It carries the time it actually happened, and syncs when there is a connection — the app opens and works with no network at all after the first visit. A person on the ground never has to think about it.

Can staff cheat it?

They can try, and we would rather show you the attempt than pretend it is impossible. Punches outside the geofence, simulated locations, phone clocks that disagree with our server, and travel between two points nobody could have driven are all flagged for a person to look at. What we will not do is silently discard somebody's day, because the honest explanation is far more common than the dishonest one.

Do you track people outside working hours?

No. Movement recording starts at clock-in and stops at clock-out, and the server refuses pings from anybody who is not on shift. Each person accepts it separately from the organisation switching it on, sees their own trail, and can withdraw — which stops future recording and does not touch the days already worked.

What if we stop paying?

For the first week nothing changes. After that, adding staff and changing setup are paused, but your staff keep punching for three weeks. After that punching stops — and every record, report and export stays available indefinitely. Nothing is ever deleted for non-payment.

Is there an app to install?

It is a web app you add to the home screen, which means no store review, no APK to sideload, and updates that reach everybody at once. Android and iPhone builds for the app stores are planned; the web app is what a pilot runs on today, and it works offline.

Which languages?

English, Hindi, Bengali, Marathi, Gujarati, Tamil and Telugu, chosen on the sign-in screen — before somebody has to read anything to find the setting. The admin panel is in English.

Can we get the data out?

Timesheets and the muster roll as CSV, payroll as a monthly report, and on Business a REST API and signed webhooks so attendance reaches your payroll system without anybody touching a spreadsheet. Exports are never blocked, whatever the wallet says.

Who is behind it?

APIE Technologies, in India. Hazir runs on Cloudflare's edge, which is why it is fast from a small town and why we can price it per day instead of per seat.

Get started

See it with your own roster

We are onboarding the first pilot customers by hand, which means you get a call with the people who built it. Bring your hardest site — the one with no signal, three shifts and a supervisor who hates software.
